How to Make Mashed Sweet Potatoes in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
I am a huge sweet potato fan. I’m famous for my Sweet Potato Casserole at all our family holidays, and any time I go to a steakhouse, I always get a sweet potato as one of my sides. I love using Cris’ Crock Pot Sweet Potatoes recipe so I can have the steakhouse sweet potato taste at home. Last time I made them, it got me thinking. What if I used that recipe and took the sweet potatoes one step further to make these Crock Pot Mashed Sweet Potatoes?! Well, I’ll tell you what if…it is delicious! This is so simple and yet so amazing. My sweet potato lovin’ heart is quite happy with the results!
If you so happen to live in a house where most of the other people are not fans of sweet potatoes, I feel your pain. I make these up for pitch-ins (also known as potlucks) and family get togethers. That way my fellow sweet potato lovers can enjoy this yummy recipe with me.
