Why make crafts on your 100 days of school?
Crafts involve the hands and fingers. Using fingers and hands are essential to fine motor skill development, control, and hand-eye coordination – just to name a few things. Doing crafts from a young age helps motor skills to improve and increase.
Crafts increase dexterity (hand skill performance) in general, they encourage self-expression and more. Making crafts help kids with their creativity, memory, and decision-making skills.
As they follow instructions for their crafts they develop the ability to be unique and make the crafts their very own.
How to celebrate the 100 days of school?
There are some pretty awesome ways to celebrate 100 days of school. Depending on how your school year has gone, you can either make the 100th day of school a big deal or you can do simple activities.
Either way, your 100th-day celebration can be educational and fun – definitely fun.

Bake with a 100 Day Theme
Your whole family can join in on baking or cooking fun. You can bake cupcakes while counting 100 sprinkles, or make pizza with 100 toppings. Here is a step-by-step 100 day of school cake to make with your kids.
100 Favorite Words
Use a poster board or a bulletin board to task your kids to post up 100 of their favorite words.
100 Crochet Lines or Sewing project
Do a simple sewing project to introduce your kids to sewing this year. It is a great skill to equip your kids with. Here is a super simple heart garland sewing project for beginners or sew 100 straight crochet patterns in cool colors with your kids.

100 Days of School Fun Crafts
This one is our favorite. My kids are really artsy where I am NOT. They enjoy coloring and creating things with their hands.
Kids really enjoy doing crafts and they have plenty of benefits like the ones I’ve mentioned above. And that is why I wanted to share this awesome list of ideas and easy 100th day of school crafts your kids will enjoy.
Gum Ball Machine 100 Days Activity – This simple and cool paper plate activity will help your kiddos make a gumball craft. Kids will need to add 100 gumball prints to their paper plates.
Poster Craft Ideas for 100 Days of School – From counting 100 shapes to giving themselves a white beard with cotton balls or pom poms, the ideas are endless. Grab a large poster board and ask your kids which poster board craft they would like to make.
50 Craft Ideas for the 100 Days of School – This resource has absolutely free printables with fun ideas for 100 days of school. Then there are just regular awesome crafts like cutting construction paper into a crown shape and gluing 100 craft jewels on them.
100 Sprinkles Cupcake Craft Activity – Help your kids create one-of-a-kind cupcakes with colorful sprinkles. You can also list a certain amount of sprinkles for different colors, to make it slightly more challenging for your learners.
Numbers 1 – 0 – 0 Creative Design Craft – Cut the numbers one, zero, and zero and hand them to your child. See what type of designs or creative designs they will make with the numbers on paper. Check out this site for some adorable and fun ideas.
100 Days of School Hat – Check out this crafty hat to make for kids to wear on their 100 days of school celebration. Cut the 10 strips on whatever color paper your kids will like. Then make sure kids add ten stickers to each strip.
Phone Booth Foam Board Craft Activity – Your kids will need coloring sheets, white cardstock, and some straws, and coloring/painting utensils. Your older kids will really enjoy this craft activity. Kids can also use poster board instead of foam board.
100 Year Old Granny or Grandpa Craft – This is just an adorable idea for your little ones for the days of school. Make a strip of writing paper and ask kids to tell you what they will do when they are 100 years old. Here are some more cute and crafty 100-year-olds for kids to view for ideas.

Cheerios 10th Day of School Craft Project – Grab some poster board, glue, and cheerios to start this 100th-day school project. Your crafts don’t have to be a big deal, however, they can be fun and colorful.
Goldfish Bowl Poster Craft for 100 Days of School – Check out this incredibly adorable poster craft for your kids to do for your 100th day of school celebration. If you have little ones, this is a craft they can actually all do together as a project using yummy goldfish crackers.
Fruit Loop Necklace Crafts – Help your students make these fruit loop necklaces on your 100th-day celebration. Grab some yummy fruit loop sand yarn and get your kids to start counting. You can also use this idea for printing numbers for every ten fruit loops.
