I finally got around to trying Farm Boy's fig and walnut cream cheese dip and have to say, this copycat recipe is pretty darn close to the original! Perfect for when you cannot make it to the grocery store 🙂
Before I start, I want to say I am not affiliated with Farm Boy grocery stores. I am just a customer who really loves their stuff!
My sister took me to Farm Boy when it opened a couple of towns over (probably within the last year or so.) I immediately fell in love! They are so different than our standard grocery stores and what I love most is how delicious (and unique) they are. Many of their products are their own: salad dressings, soups, you name it. I finally got around to trying their fig and walnut cream cheese dip and was floored! We ate the whole container in one night!
I use their salad dressing all the time, but I can easily stock up on that. Since they are not exactly close for me, I try and limit my trips. Sometimes I cannot get my hands on this dip, so that is why I decided to try recreating the recipe at home. Soooo good! And really simple, considering it sounds so fancy 🙂
All ingredients are approximate and with something homemade like this fig and walnut cream cheese dip, you can customize it however you see fit. I would probably add extra sesame seeds and walnuts for fun. Oh! And I finally found fresh figs so that I could actually make this recipe 🙂

Like I said, such a fun grocery store! My sister and I tend to hit up the hot section and devour some stuffed baked potatoes after our shopping trip. No shame! Plus, they pride themselves on organic products, and I know for many that is a big deal.

I never would have thought about a fig dip, but we love fig spread on crackers with manchego cheese, so I'm sure we'd love this, too!

Yes!! It is so weird because I love cream cheese, but not in cheesecake lol. Savoury dips are a-okay!
