If we were to do it over again, we would have paid the higher tuition and sent our son to Seattle Prep. The administration at O’Dea is terrible and leaves a lot to be desired. They only treat families well that donate a lot or have a top athlete. Don’t be fooled, the “Brotherhood For Life” slogan is merely a marketing tactic, it does not actually exist. Instead the school culture is exclusionary and administration does nothing about it. They also do not hold students accountable for making racist comments to each other, which was extremely disappointing. They really need to do better! There is not a lunch room which is a minor downfall and they only give 20 minutes for the students to eat lunch.

If you're not a top athlete this school isn't for you. Academics suck, campus sucks, community sucks.

This school is amazing because It truly makes you feel like you apart of something for life. Although it may be hard, to fit it or whatever, the men that are produced from this school are no where short of elite.
